Paarl has a rich and textured architecture heritage combining CapeDutch, Georgian and Victorian Styles. The Afrikaans Language Monument is in close proximity to the farm.
Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve is dominated by the enormous granite triplets: Paarl, Bretagne and Gordon rocks. The Reserve has lovely picnic spots with 360-degree views of the Peninsula and Boland. For the outdoor enthusiasts the farm offers opportunities for hiking, bird watching and bass fishing.
Several of the surrounding wine estates have good restaurants, delicatessen and a large shopping mall is only 8 km away.
